    AREA OF EXPERTISE:

Research projects in the field of pharmacogenetics, with the aim of investigating the impact of genetic variants on individual variability in drug response, both in terms of therapeutic effect as well as drug toxicity. Major efforts are focused on the identification of genetic predictive factors allowing a personalized therapeutic approach in patients affected by migraine, chronic pain, Medication Overuse Headache (MOH), breast cancer, and receiving renal transplantation.

    EDUCATION:

    ·         From November 2012: PhD Student in “Biotecnologie farmaceutiche ed alimentari” at Dipartimento di Scienze del Farmaco in Novara, Italy.

    ·         2011 – 2012: one-year scholarship holder at Dipartimento di Scienze del Farmaco in Novara, Italy.

    ·         2011: five-year degree in Pharmacy at Università del Piemonte Orientale “Amedeo Avogadro” in Novara, Italy. (107/110)

    ·         2010-2011: six-month Erasmus project at Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Akademiska Hospital, Uppsala, Sweden.
